About this Project:

Anti Abuse’s purpose is to help people that are struggling with domestic violence. It is an easy access app for people who are dealing with physical, mental, emotional abuse. The first page is the starting page, Bolded is a title and a follow up question where you can clearly tell that its question's purpose is to make sure you know what it will be used for. Now you can see a pinkish box with a plus sign. Press that button and it will take you to a page with 4 buttons.
The 4 buttons are “share your experience”, “Talk to AI”, “Talk to Health Professionals” and “Call for help”. The first button which is share your experience purpose is to be able to see posts of people who has shared their physical, mental, or emotional trauma. On top of all this, you will also be able to share your own experience and receive help from people online. The second option, which is talk to AI purposes, is if you don’t feel comfortable sharing with real people you can also take advice from a bot where it is all real and genuine advice. The 3rd option is “ Talk to Help Professionals” where you are able to talk to a licensed doctor and share your trauma with. The messages are private and only you and the doctor will be able to see these messages. Lastly, The last option is “ Call for Help”. This option is for you to make calls without it being shown in ur call log so no one can see who you are calling but you. You have many different options on who you want to call without anyone seeing the person number in your actual call log

Helping out victims of abuse and giving them many different options is great. The concept of the app is very appealing and I'd love to see it developed further.

This app has the potential to seriously reduce harm to users of domestic abuse, and the idea is promising. Further, the user experience flow, based on the included design mocks, are very logical and easy to follow. I have some comments:

Consider an option that provides users with anonymity, as I imagine some users won’t want to be identified in app-based communication, for fear of retaliation.

I’m not sure I’d want to trust such an important and sensitive topic like domestic abuse to an AI system. Any wrong or misinformation has the potential for bodily harm to the end user.

Concept is amazing to victims of any sort of abuse. It states the problem clearly and would be a help to society
