About this Project:

This app is made to help people with Non-Verbal Autism communicate with others. The challenges/issues that people with non-verbal Autism face is that they can not speak or have a voice. That is why we created this app.

We came up with the idea to make this app because we wanted to help everyone have a voice. Our app started off by just helping others speak through text-to-speech but now we have a feature to help everyone to have their own identity. By having multiple options for voices, everyone can have their own voice, not just an audio voice.

If we built our project it would work by the user pressing buttons and typing words to create sentences that will turn text-to-speech.

Your presentation was wonderful and shows that you are empathetic and thoughtful individuals! You clearly presented your goals both visually and verbally, and did so in a professional manner. I wonder if there is a version of the app that can be picture based for those that are not able to text? Maybe there are categories such as food, clothes, drink, or activities?
Congratulations to you all on a job well done!

I cannot believe you are in middle school. Your ideas and articulation of your ideas are all so mature and well thought out. Bravo. I would have loved to see the happy path, napkin sketches, and wireframes more close up so I could read what they actually say. Overall, your theme is unique and your pitch was captivating.

I love your project! While there are many tools for text-to-speech available, many often overlook the user's ability to customize the voice to match their identity. There is something extremely empowering about feeling like the voice conveying your thoughts is actually Your Voice!
