About this Project:
These projects exemplify the work from our first Career Track Course on UX and Web Accessibility. The design process started with an introduction to UX design and web accessibility, followed by coming up with ideas for apps, creating user personas, and building prototypes in Figma. Students looked at job descriptions and requirements from companies and critiqued examples of accessible designs.
The projects created in this class include a communication app for families and friends similar to kik, a mental health app that helps young people stay occupied with music, games, and stretching, a movie streaming app, and a sports game. Students also designed accessibility features, such as what selecting or changing a language would look like onscreen.

Feedback from the Judges:
These are all great and unique designs. It shows a lot of research into how users flow into products and their needs for menus and what to do next based on why they're in the app!
I really appreciated that you are tackling UX issues and improving the user experience. I think it is important to think about the interface (on web and apps and games) to improve the intuitive use that is natural for the user. It's an important aspect of these products and one that will make your projects and creations more desirable because they are well designed! I also liked the collaborative aspect of your project that included the idea board with multiple contributors brainstorming. Good work!
