About this Project:

My app that I created is to help solve the fact that many kids don't know which products can be recycled or not. I knew I wanted to come up with a catch game type so I went through the process of trying to figure out how I wanted the game to look. If I could build more on this project I would definitely put more levels in it as well as different pieces of trash to collect.

Feedback from the Judges:

This game is a lot of fun! I really enjoyed being able to test it out and learn what is recyclable. In my gameplay, only the cardboard boxes were making a ding noise to confirm the item is recyclable. It would also be fun to have a timer to try to beat your time to 50 points. This would be a great app as well as a web game. I love the colors and design of the game. Great job.

The game was fun and interactive. I really like how it drives home the point of recycling and how important it is for all of us to do their part. Good job!

I love the idea of learning through play. The colours and designs are fun and not distracting. I think an addition of a pop-up the 1st time you collect a non-recyclable object to explain why it doesn't belong in the blue bin could go a long way to educate what does and does not belong. Fantastic idea!

I'm really impressed by your initiative to promote knowledge about sustainability. The simplicity and interactivity of the game make it accessible to people of all ages, which is fantastic. It would be fascinating to learn more about the inspiration behind your idea and how you envision expanding it to incorporate customization for different districts' recycling practices. Your game demo was excellent, and I appreciate your efforts in making the project interactive. Keep up the great work!
