About this Project:

My app addresses the problem our world is having with water pollution.

After looking into marine life deaths due to the fact that I saw a video about it on social media, I realized that one of the main reasons for their deaths is from them eating recyclables and the CO2.

This is important to me due to the fact that if we continue polluting the ocean, we will have chemical contamination which is very toxic and harmful to humans, and we’ll lose almost all of our marine wildlife.

More About this Project

I started looking into problems in our world and one of the most major and interesting ones I came across was the topic of water pollution. I seen all the marine life dead from choking on plastic, paper, and other things that were thrown in the ocean. I decided to make a game design to depict what should be done in a fun type of way. What should be done is the removal of trash that is in the ocean and not only that but to stop throwing trash in the water for us and the marine life.

Love that you are using a game to raise awareness about ocean pollution in an engaging way! Your slide deck does a great job of conveying your project mission and look & feel. A couple of slides have the original slide template text in them which I don't think was intentional and distracts a bit from the content you are presenting. I'd be curious where you can host the game to get people to find it once built. Great to see that you've started building the game out - would be very curious to play it once built!
