This app is a great start to addressing mental health concerns. Mental health is a widespread issue that has only increased over the past few years. The main concern I have with the app is that users may replace seeking professional help with talking to this AI avatar. The avatar can give generic advice, but in reality, users who are truly struggling need personalized advice that AI won't be able to address. It'd be cool if the avatar could gather data about where the person lives, etc. (while securing their data) and help point them in the direction of resources near where they live. I do really like that the app allows users to think about how they view themselves- this is a huge first step in determining how good their mental health is overall.
