What I do all day at work?
I oversee Mouse's Professional Mentor Program, which connects students with volunteer mentors that work in the tech career field. I hope to inspire students to diversify the STEAM career fields! I also manage our Design League program that guides Middle and High school students on creating original tech projects using the Human-centered design process and gaining UX/UI skills.
I have a background in Psychology and transitioned to education once I fell in love with curriculum development. I enjoy supporting students' growth, learning, and opening doors to potential career paths. By connecting mentors with our Design League students, they can see themselves as UX/UI designers, Software developers, etc. to further diversify the STEAM career fields.

Nice work, Adam! I think you have a strong app idea that will encourage people to visit national parks and explore the beautiful sights they offer. I would have loved to hear how visiting national parks could lead to users being informed about the conservation efforts that parks promote. I would like to suggest that you also think of the global impact that national parks have in different countries since they help protect different species. I really enjoyed learning about how important the national parks are to you and your family and I would even like to use this app one day. Keep up the great work!
