About this Project:
Challenges, issues that are displayed throughout this project is EATING HARMFUL THINGS! I came up with this idea while eating mushrooms, this specific question occurred to me: how many people die from mushrooms because they aren't knowledgeable about this area of nature? Misidentification of mushrooms is an easy factor that kills many people. Mushrooms shouldn’t be such an issue if you can easily prevent it with education. Especially since one mushroom can contain enough poison to kill an average-sized adult. My project works by, if you click a mushroom it tells you if it's safe to consume or not, then, it includes information about the mushroom.

Feedback from the Judges:
Love the idea of gamifying mushroom identification! Your pitch deck is very well organized and gives a clear overview of the purpose of the app and how it will work. The theme of your deck is very cohesive and polished. Great job communicating this project - I hope you build this!
My only suggestion would be to add messaging to ensure your users don't get over-confident from playing your game! Something like 'all mushrooms should be assumed poisonous until proven safe'. Otherwise you could accidentally contribute to someone getting sick :)

Ameera - well done! I really appreciate all of the thought and clarity in this presentation deck. I would be curious to learn more about how you plan to expand on this idea (could someone, for instance, take a photo of a mushroom and use the app to identify it?) Your pitch deck is well-researched, and I appreciate how much time you took to explain your process. Great job!
I LOVE this idea, and also share your concerns for people foraging mushrooms! My favorite part is the click game aspect, and the artwork. It was really great to see your iterations within your deck to see your thought process more. For the app itself, I'd love to see a photo identification component where users can upload photos of mushrooms in their environments to see if they are poisonous or not (but make sure to give clear warnings if you are not sure!). Overall amazing job, and such a fun idea!

This app is interesting and it teaches the user about which food is safe to eat which is important to consider!
