About this Project:

Empowering Mental and Emotional Heath with the M.E.H. App

Our new app is designed to help you with your mental and emotional health. It's made for everyone, but especially for adults and teens. Life can be tough sometimes, but our app is here to guide you through the hard times and make a positive impact on your life.

We made our app by talking to people who have problems with their feelings and emotions, coming up with sketches, making prototypes, and improving them based on feedback. We are proud of what we have created and hope it can make a positive difference in the lives of those who use it.

Our app's main goal is to help you understand and manage your emotions and mental health better. Whether you're feeling angry or lonely, our app has got your back. We offer lots of helpful advice and tools, like a journal, to make you feel happier and improve your well-being. We know everyone is different, so our app gives you options that suit your needs.

Plus, our app has tons of ways to help you cope with different emotions. We believe it's important to have a safe space where you can express yourself without being judged. Our app provides exactly that, so you can explore and understand your feelings in a supportive environment.

Join us on this journey to improve your mental and emotional well-being. Together, we can overcome life's challenges and create a brighter future. Download our app now and start living a more fulfilling life!

Great project with innovative ideas:
1. The inclusion of a journal. That has the potential to help a person collect their thoughts and emotions to later share with medical professionals.
2. Directions to safe spaces like parks or medical facilities.

Nice job!

Your slides and video explain the need and your idea very well. Mental health is important to everyone and we all need support at times, so this issue is definitely worth thinking about. There are many different situations where people need to improve their mental state either immediately or over the long term, so I encourage you to continue thinking about what resources are available and how you could include them in your app. Nice work, and keep the ideas coming!

Great job! You are tackling an important issue. What makes this feel special or different from other mental health support apps is the local resources that it suggest outside of therapist or doctors. I LOVED the integration of parks/nature, therapy dogs and meditation. Possibly consider including support groups, art therapy or music therapy too!

Feedback from the Community:

William 👏 a Community Member from PS/IS 229K administration
Mental and emotional health is of prime concern for a growing number of individuals currently.
I found Screen 6 to have lot of potential. A personal space to jot down thoughts can be helpful, because even someone who has found a doctor or therapist can use this pre-visit or post-visit. It can assist in both preparing thought/concerns to share and reflecting on what was discussed. Well done!
