About this Project:
Our idea came after extensive research about major problems in society. We decided to choose mental health because we wanted to help people, especially people in our age group. We interviewed prospective users in order to gain insight into what would be the most helpful when creating the app. We wanted to make sure that all our users felt heard, like they had a place just for them, and most importantly, safe.
Someone would interact with our app after they signed up and created a profile. Upon creating the profile, users would take a survey to assess their mental health needs and a survey to assess their interests. This helps the app pair the user with the support they need, such as a therapist to speak with or activities they could do to self-regulate. We wanted to make the app as individualized as possible, which is why there are quizzes and options throughout.

What a wonderful idea to help those struggling with their mental health. Sometimes its hard know to even find a provider to see these days for someone experiencing mental health issues or a crisis. There are waiting lists for months. I love that your app provides a lists of therapists, live help for those struggling in the moment. Having access to talk to someone around the clock could make a huge difference in someones life especially if theyre really struggling. Good job girls and good luck!
