About this Project:

Our problem is the lack of adoption apps. Cats exclusively are not popular when it comes to adoption, so this app is made especially for cats who are looking for a home. I discovered this problem when learning more about cats. I realized how more people should learn about cats because of how fascinating they can be. My app also includes a feature that allows you to learn new information about different cat breeds, like their temperament, life span, weights, etc. This issue is important to me and other individuals as adopting a cat can be very difficult, but with the right tools, it can be done! I came up with the idea of this app for my love of cats and because of seeing constant videos of cats being adopted into happy homes. My project takes you to a home screen, which you can then pick to learn information on different breeds of cats. There is a second home button you can click that will take you back. Then, you can see five different cats from different breeds that you can pick.

What a cute app! I adopted my cat from a rescue and an app like this would have made the process so much more fun, educational and easy! It would be even better to see a map or list of local cat rescues to see where to adopt the cats! This could help make the first steps easier for users to adopt a cat. I really love how much fun you had with App Lap and presenting your idea! Nice job!

Your presentation highlights a genuine problem in the adoption space, specifically for cats. It's great that you recognized cat adoption's lack of popularity and awareness and decided to address it through your app. The inclusion of a feature that educates users about different cat breeds is a valuable addition as it helps potential adopters make informed decisions. Your passion for cats and the motivation behind creating this app shines through in your presentation. The user interface flow you described, with options for learning about different breeds and viewing available cats, seems intuitive and user-friendly. As a dog lover, I also want to see this expand to other pets. . Keep up the fantastic work

The presentation of the idea, the reason, the design process, the pitch, the functionality you gave to the app, all this I think was very well achieved and congratulations are due. The code you've developed seems to be well organized and I see that you've risked using some functions, which is to be commended because only with functions can you have a really organized code that can be reused. I would just consider assigning more options and features to the app beyond the main one it is intended for, which is cat adoption. I love cats too and I understand what you're saying. Despite having already seen some wireframes (some of these even became prototypes) about cat adoption, I still don't see many apps being used in real life. I believe that in the medium term this situation will change. Until then, congratulations on your effort and good work.

This is so prettyyyyy!! It's very well explained and thought through in ways it could help pet adoptions as well as the owner's knowledge of the pets they are adopting. This is very well done.
