About this Project:

In a large school like ours, getting to the bathroom and making it back to class can be challenging. Our app strives to use student data to inform students about which bathrooms are open and accessible, what the wait time is like, and how to best maximize their time and effort.

What a unique idea! Growing up in large NYC schools does have the added challenge of managing bathroom use and personal hygiene in such large communities. Unfortunately, your slides that might have provided more of a presentation of your app are unavailable to open. I would love to see how you set up the information you hope to provide fellow bathroom seekers.

Your project has a very small focus currently, but this idea could very much expand into something that could help larger communities. As someone who lives with a partner who has Ulcerative Colitis, (a medical condition that sometimes has you rushing to the potty right away!) something like this app for the everyday traveler would be marvelous! Flush: Toilet Finder is an app with a similar focus, though your teams idea of extra details from users per each bathroom would benefit users who want to know if the bathrooms are available or what statuse the bathrooms happen to be in. Good start to a great and unique idea!

What a great idea anything that can get you in and out of the classroom in the fastest and safest way possible and get you back to your desk before missing out on too much seems like a no brainer. I was bummed that I couldn't access the deck to see where you wanted to take this app down the line.

This is such a clever idea! Unfortunately, I was unable to view the slides due to them being set at a certain privacy setting. I went to a large high school and this kind of information would have been super useful. I know the app right now is geared towards during class time, but this would be extra helpful to have for between classes as well. I'd be curious to know how data and information about the bathrooms in use are tracked (not sure if this was discussed in the slides). Overall, this is such a clever idea that can be expanded to schools all over!
