About this Project
This project supports people that are suicidal. When we were brainstorming topics, we realized that most of the things we were listing were a result of mental health issues. We interviewed some of our peers and other people around us and this resulted in our group choosing suicide. This app addresses this issue by providing live motivation, calming a person down, motivational quotes, breathing exercises, hotline numbers, and mindful hobbies.
What the Judges are Saying
The project is well thought out a provides a valuable service.
Thanks for picking this topic. Its nice to have our youngsters thinking about helping the community.
I liked the way you show the app design and how it would work. What would be better is to get some physiological research points considered, like a suicidal person may not want to talk to "Friends" or submit their identity/register.
This is a great initiative, and you can add so much more value by enriching the content and being relevant to this sensitive topic.

Your project addressing suicide and providing support through an app is commendable. By recognizing the prevalence of mental health issues and the need for assistance, you have chosen a critical topic to focus on. The inclusion of live motivation, calming techniques, motivational quotes, breathing exercises, hotline numbers, and mindful hobbies in the app showcases a comprehensive approach to supporting individuals in distress. These features have the potential to offer immediate help, encouragement, and resources to those who may be feeling suicidal.
One suggestion to improve the pitch could be to provide specific examples or scenarios illustrating how the app's features effectively address and alleviate suicidal thoughts and provide support. This could help potential users better understand the practical impact and usefulness of the app in real-life situations.
