About this Project:

Our class spoke about community and the desire to help people who live in it. Gray Haired Grabs helps those who need assistance. We could bring you items you need from the super marker, drug store, or simply shovel your snow if you are stuck in the house.

During our design process we thought about making our services smaller but we wanted to help as many people as we could. We did change the name of our app and also created a logo for advertising.

We hope you enjoy our presentation!

This project shows promise and should be considered for an award. It provides aid to older people, which is a worthy cause.

Team, congrats on submitting your Gray Haired Grabs app idea. I really like the process you went through and how you came up with an idea following your interview. You seemed to come up with a community need and applied your learning and knowledge of other apps and products out there to address this need. Even though there are other delivery and ordering apps out there, there is something to designing a version of a service to address a very specific need.

I would have been interested to hear your ideas about how your app would work. How would you get community businesses to participate and how would they sign on? How would you get your app into the hands of the elderly community? How would attract and sign up volunteers? These may all be things you could explore further if you continue your Gray Haired Grab app planning moving forward.

Thank you and again congrats for sharing your app idea.

The process you followed to arrive at this idea was a good one. The idea addresses a very real and important need, so it has the potential to have great impact! I would like to know more details about how the whole process would work, for example: how users navigate through the app to select things they need, how the people who deliver those things would be engaged, and how the items would be paid for. Connecting people with needs with people who can help them is important work, so keep the ideas coming!
