About this Project
Cream of the crop provides a simple method of connecting farmers to consumers.
This app benefits customers, as it provides a cheaper alternative than supermarkets. As shipping costs rise, so do the prices of common staple goods, such as eggs and oil. By cutting out the supermarkets, products can become much cheaper for the consumer. Additionally, our app ensures that every product you get is fresh, as it comes directly from local farms.
This app is beneficial to farmers, as it exposes them to a wider audience and can help prevent them from running out of business. Over time, more and more farms shut down due to lack of business after being replaced by supermarkets. Our app hopes to introduce these farms to more customers who can help keep their business afloat.
