About this Project:
ConnecTime is a video meeting app similar to Zoom and Google Meet, but it differs in it's more enticing /interactive U.I Features that track attendance and makes students be more present and active during class(activity checks , camera required classrooms and timed responses in chat). This gives the quality of physical learning that virtual students deserve in a classroom. It also encourages students to be more participatory and their virtual platforms all the more accessible.

Feedback from the Judges:
Amazing project! I was very impressed with all of the features you included; making school easier for students who are learning virtually, when it is already so difficult, is an amazing goal for your project group to have set out to accomplish. It's clear that your app was inspired by personal experience, and that you really took into consideration a student's experience when learning virtually. I would love to see this further developed in the future!
Well done!! I love ConnecTime, especially how it focuses on making learning more engaging, and holding students accountable to be more active participants in their learning. The slide presentation is polished, and I love how you walk through the user experience with details that are both familiar to new users (set up accounts, etc) and also highlight innovations that would be brand new for ConnecTime users.
Your team has done an excellent job applying firsthand problems from pandemic-era education into a solution that redefines what is possible for a virtual classroom. I am excited to learn more about your ideas for how you would implement timed questions, linked activities, and how to integrate mobile & desktop participation. You've created a platform that takes the pain points from Meet/Zoom and elevated it to a classroom that holds everyone with high expectations.
Thank you for putting such high quality thought, design, and solutions into this project. And, thank you for putting students at the center of this solution. It's clear you've put a great deal of thought into what a positive virtual learning environment could be. Great job!

Very interesting and useful platform you've all created. I love that you are making the traditional classroom inclusive to virtual students. Virtual learning by way of online or homeschooling has become more in demand in recent years than ever before - as we all know.
It's well written and I would simply recommend adding more colors to the mood you'd like to create for students entering the platform.
Overall, great concept that is practical and could be rolled out in classrooms across the country!
