About this Project:

We address health issues like anxiety and panic attacks. Our app tries to help with that by calming you down with books, music and calming games.

maya slides: This is our app Brain Flow. It was created to help people with mental health issues relax after a long day. We have noticed that more and more people have been suffering from mental health issues. According to a study done on kids ages 13–17 before and after the pandemic, they showed more signs of depression and anxiety after the pandemic than before. We wanted to create an app to combat these issues in a simple and effective way, which is why we created Brain Flow.

Our app helps with anxiety attacks, depression or even ust cooling you down after a long day.Our app offers games, calming music, books, meditation and you can even talk to a random stranger if you need to. 1 in 10 Americans have depression that might not sound like a lot but it is a much bigger problem than you think. That's where our app comes in. A lot of those people don't do anything about their depression. This app is open to everyone no matter what your situation is, our app can calm you down. Our idea has evolved from a sketch on a piece of paper, to an app! We used figma to make the prototype. Brain flow is a calming app and a safe place.

We have a main menu with four different options. Meditation,Music,Games, books. Our e-books section where you can read a book and calm down. On the meditation; you can meditate and relax and wind down. The games section to calm down and chill after a long day. And as an additional feature we have a chat. You can chat with a random kind stranger. Our music is calming and relaxing for a reason.. Studies show that when you are listening to music your heartbeat matches the beat of the song. So if you're listening to rock music your heart beat is really fast. But this music is calming with a slow tempo which helps with the panic and anxiety attacks.

Well done and a much-needed app. Team was very thorough. In our post-pandemic world, people need this to deal with more stress in their lives.

Great app! Combining a variety of methods that help people calm down is a great way to reach many people while also catering to different forms of internal and social stressors. The aesthetic of the app is very clean, though I would suggest changing the sandy background color to something still soft but less muddy. Your app has great potential to change peoples lives; what are your next steps to continue developing this project?
