About this Project:

We learned about the design process. We synthesized our information as a team. We learned from the health-care professional mentors, and brainstormed Ideas for solutions to help benefit people with some Neuromuscular and Neurological disorders that we learned about. We then created a storyboard (using Canva); a “Happy Path” (using Jamboard) and created “Napkin sketches” of our app design. Finally, we learned about UX/UI design and how to use Figma and create a wireframe.

Wonderful job, Ariana, Giana, and Vanessa! I really like your app but especially loved your pitch. You were all confident and very informative by indicating why you wanted to create this app to help people with depression and how your app would address it. I am glad you stated how your app stood out amongst other therapy apps because users are able to choose a therapist based on the reason for their depression (divorce, loss of a family member, etc.). You also made it interactive and fun by including a game to help boost the users' mood and they can share their progress with family members or friends which is a great way to motivate the user. Your wireframe was user-friendly and well done. Just one thing for the home screen, there were too many different fonts, and a bit crowded. Don't forget to refer back to your style guide to help you narrow down the fonts for your title, and header 1/2. Fantastic job!

It is so wonderful to see your design process in action! Each step of the way you iterated and made your all better. I appreciate the research and thought you put into your project, aiming to reach as many people as possible with free tools and resources. Congrats!

Great idea to help those with depression find resources to aid in their daily lives. You all presented your project very well and should be proud of how your confidence shined through.

I would have loved to see you bring your paperboard design to an interactive guide as well but overall, well done on creative storytelling (including an explanation of what depression is). It's a meaningful resource that you've put together!

Love the human-centered approach. I love the idea of AI to create a safe space for people who's insurance may not cover therapy. Great job, girls!
