About this Project:

This app focuses on the issue of poverty and economic concerns. There are many people and teenagers who are uncertain on how to go about looking for income. With this app, it creates a tailored feed of potential job opportunities based on the skill sets provided in the questionnaire and locality of the job. We thought about this app based on our own neighborhood, and the needs for a specific app that shows job opportunities in Brooklyn. Our app also translates information in other languages, as our community has a diverse group of people.

Great job at taking the concept of a job board and making it relevant to your community (Brooklyn). Thinking about how to help your community in poor economic conditions serves a bigger purpose in itself, and then offering the platform in different languages is outstanding. My only critique would be to put a little more time into the graphics but overall, a user friendly platform that is direct and to the point. The slogan brings fun into your project, too!

Very cool - I think a killer feature for this would be to have location-based notifications popup on your phone when you pass a business that is hiring so you could just walk right in off the street and inquire about the job right there. I don't think I've seen many apps that do that which might help speed up the hiring process.
