This is a GREAT idea for an app! Many friends of mine who use wheelchairs or have had other mobility issues have expressed frustration about getting accurate and up to date information about accessible public transportation.
This app was obviously designed with a lot of thoughtfulness and empathy. The world would be a better place with an app like this in every city! This app could benefit all kinds of people beyond wheelchair users as well. I bet many older folks, or people who are pregnant or use canes or crutches, or even people who have to carry heavy loads or carts or baby strollers might also find using this app to be really useful.
Very impressive, especially considering the fact that this was your first time designing an app! My only feedback would be to make the fonts a little bigger - that might make it easier for people with different levels of vision to read.
I think you all are on to a great concept, and the design is awesome. Keep up the great work!

Bravo Class X21! You designed a thoughtful app, layered with information to help wheelchair users navigate the NYC subway system. Having up to date information about elevators and other accessibility features will also help individuals with walkers and canes, those with strollers, and even people carrying large or heavy packages. Great job!

Amazing job! The world should absolutely be more accessible for everyone and this app is one more step in the right direction! Great use of a simple and quick app layout, that gives me the impression you understand people are on the move when using traveling apps in the city! Maybe even connecting some other accessibility services to the app could make it very versatile for everyone!

Fantastic work! I really enjoyed how you presented your story and app idea โ€“ the music and interview format was both different and engaging. This app would definitely have a substantial impact on the local and even global community as it is difficult today to find accessibility information for many public transportation systems. The interface design is intuitive, and you clearly considered the needs of the end users. Very engaging project!
