About this Project:

My project is an app that looks for the names of certain dogs depending on what the user might need the dog for. For example, if the user needed to find what dogs are meant for sled-pulling, it would present the user with a list of dog names that are meant for sled pulling.

Good idea and presentation. You captured the finder situation well. May you continue to think the project out. Once again good idea.

Great work! I love how you were inspired by your own interests; that's always a great place to find curiosity to imagine a better world. The video of your prototype with you typing really brings The Doggo For Me to life! I've been on projects where a lot of thought goes into how the search functionality works, so that will be great practical experience to have.

I'm wondering if you could team up with local shelters to not only help people find breeds that could be a good fit, but also increase the number of adoptions and pair them directly with an animal that could be a great next family member. Lastly, I want to say how much I appreciated you including ideas for future improvements in your presentation. It's great to see how you're already considering what could be different in the next iteration. Keep up the great work!

Nice job, Alan!

Your app idea is a great way to centralize where people can narrow down what kind of dog they want. It was great to have you walk us through your design process and plans for future iterations. Your website was designed nicely! I loved the animals and the video of you using the app. It helped me further understand your direction for the app.

Since you plan to continue developing this app, you are already on a good path by adding more search categories and possibly other animals. I agree with one of the other judges and encourage you to connect with local shelters to help find a home for displaced dogs (and other animals). Adding brighter colors to your app design can draw people in as it's a joyful moment to find the right doggo for me :)

Awesome work!
