About this Project:
Our project is focused on outreaching to other people to spread awareness of marine conservation. We are focused on working with the local wildlife and marine biologists alike.
We contacted and interviewed experts in the marine biology field and found out about the issue that we needed to look more into. We managed to make a storyboard which was eventually improved into a wireframe and finally a prototype. Along the way we tested with students and teachers in my school to see how they felt about our design. We took all the feedback that were received from the testing and added them to the prototype.
In the future we plan to improve my idea by outreaching to more marine biologists and users in order to make our app more appealing.

Feedback from the Judges:
This app is a good idea because it brings attention to the saving of the oceans and waterways. The goal of the app is entertainment, but this is a practical app that needs to be backed.
This is an amazing idea and the presentation was brilliant! Combining the entertainment aspect with a tangible cause is a great way to engage people. You should look into collaborating with more non-profits! Great job!
Creative, simple and fun application! First, I appreciate your mission to spread awareness of marine conservation. You started your project in the right way - interviewing experts in the marine biology field to understand the topic, problems and needs. Your solution is a clever, interactive way to educate people while engaging them through games. Your idea could be the premise for a portfolio of simple applications/games that helps people/students learn about various marine topics and how to preserve the ocean environment in a fun and engaging way. I hope you continue to build-test-learn from your prototype application. Good luck!
Well done, HS Team! What a novel idea to raise awareness of marine conservation & climate change
through gamification. This project has the potential to make a positive impact and can be accessible to all ages. When I taught middle school science, I helped test pilot Killer Snails Assassins of the Sea and BioDive Virtual Reality games which proved to be a very engaging and educational way to help students learn about marine biology. Excited about the potential of this project to have an impact.
