Mental health and wellbeing are such important topics. Kudos to the team for leaning in on this challenging topic. The feature set you've identified seems to address a good range of relevant user needs, while remaining focused. Relying on the lantern as a metaphor for both light, guidance, and movement was a great choice. Team showcases solid visual iteration since the initial concept, improving the visual focus and changing the tone of the app based on audience feedback. It's clear that there is interest & talent in visual design. Keep it up!

Mental wellness is so important for everyone, and you both have done an amazing job providing a viable solution to help those in need stay organized. Your design considerations and explorations help you to arrive at a simplistic design that's calming and easy to use. You did a great job keeping the app's single focus on user benefit and then expanded it into many different use cases. I really appreciate the care you took into thinking about the branding and storytelling of the lantern logo concept. When all seems dark, Lantern is here to light the way! Bravo!

You did a great job of grounding solutions to mental health issues in a user-friendly and accessible product. I like how you identified and built an entire suite of features that all connect back to mitigating anxiety and distress through the various causes of them. The product is fun, engaging and visually stimulating!

Life can get very hectic sometimes. Keeping your day to day organized can be difficult for anyone, and individuals suffering from mental health can have a particularly more difficult time doing so. As someone who suffers from mental health I definitely can see how beneficial it can be to have a little help with keeping your personal or professional life in order. When you’re clouded with thoughts and emotions, an alarm or a friendly reminder can help in a major way. This app is genius and can absolutely be so useful to many many people as unfortunately nowadays mental health issues is not so uncommon. Great job!!

Those with mental challenges.

Mental health is what we call a silent disease, as it’s not alway front and center as compared to a broken arm or a bout of cough. There is a stigma against those with mental health, and this app can provide an alternative way in how one communicates and seeks help.

The thoughtfulness and empathy behind the creators are demonstrated in this app, by removing barriers of stigma and allowing the user to make a decision on their readiness to seek help.

This app is commended for it’s goals and tackling on a tough subject area, user friendly and it’s consideration of their users.

This is a wonderful idea created for a great cause! Very creative and vert thoughtful. Amazing work done by two very bright young ladies.

First off, it's is extremely admirable for students so young willing to tackle an issue as complex as me talk health. It shows they are being brought up in fantastic households.

Onto the app itself. The transition to more muted, calmer colors was an intelligent touch. An application like this needs to be calming to the user. The layouts are simple but effective and precise.

Fantastic work from these two students. They have a bright future ahead of them.
