About this Project:

Our project addresses the problems of mental health and anxiety. Our design process was putting our ideas together. More and more ideas came up changing our theme, layout, design, etc. Jupiter is a social platform that reaches out to people who need help with their mental health. We added 4 sections that all contribute to helping someone. These sections include a vision page where it illustrates our ideas and what we had hoped/planned for.

Next, we have a community page to find other people with the same issues as you, a relaxation page that includes breathing exercises, music, and even a minigame! Our last section is where you can seek professional help or use our very own hotline(email us or contact us via the community page). Our project was made by HTML, CSS, and Wix. Wix gave us a layout of what our project would look like. We used HTML or/and CSS to create every section.

More About this Project

When you first open our project you'll encounter a sign-in page where you may log in with Facebook/Google or create a new account.

In our project, we included numerous videos, links, and images. We have videos containing different breathing exercises to calm you down. Many of our links take you to high-rating online therapists. We included therapists for several problems such as addiction, family problems, relationship problems, etc. We have images in our vision section where we included our wireframe to give people an idea of our goal and what we wanted to achieve with Jupiter. We also added images of our spot the difference game in our relaxation section to give users a little fun activity.

Hi! I absolutely loved that you chose to tackle a subject that affects so many people — mental health — and how thoughtful your site is in choosing multiple ways to help people experiencing mental health issues. After all, not everyone's journey is the same! My favorite page was the Relaxation Page, especially the sound selections and the games. I also loved your theme! I'd love to hear more about how you came up with the name and idea for "Jupiter", and I definitely think it would be cool to carry the space theme into all of your pages. The homepage is super innovative, and I love the animations you both added to make it more engaging and interactive. It would be great to see how you might build out the community aspect of the site; I think this is the strongest way for people to connect and heal together. Well done!

I really love you're focused on such a core problem. Anxiety in general is something a lot of people experience and it's a mature topic to handle. I would have loved to hear how you complement the existing services today and what research you did to determine the four sections of your site. Overall I think this app would help a lot of people.

WOW, this is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I have SO many apps on my phone right now that serve the purposes of all 4 aspects of Jupiter in separate ways. Jupiter took so many different aspects of mental health issues and brought it together in one. I am so incredibly impressed and excited, because this is something I would use!! The community section is amazing and could even potentially lead to in person events. And the finding help section could be connected to people's insurance so they can find support that will be covered by their providers. Job well done!!!

Thank you for a record-breaking 14th anniversary event! Comments are officially closed until next year.
