About this Project:
We have created an app for the students, by the Students! Through focused research and interviews with our peers, we noticed that there was a lot of information that we needed to ensure that our academics were in order.
As conscientious students, we want an easy and foolproof way to assist ourselves in keeping track of the many requirements necessary to meet the high standards of our honor societies. Students typically carry around a card stock form and have teachers sign it as they receive kudos for a job well done in class throughout the year. Well, we now have a thing called technology and we would like to save our planet! So, we decided to come up with a sustainable solution to an organizational nightmare that every student faces. With more iterations, we believe that our app idea can come to fruition and be used by schools all over the world. Take a look and please let us know what you think.

The pitch is so much fun! Even as someone who isn't a student at IS7, you got right at the feeling of overwhelm for your fellow students that 7 Elite addresses. I can tell you had fun writing the script, which makes it even easier for the audience to get excited. Your presentation also makes it easy to imagine using the app, which is such an important skill for designers. Great work picking out the important screens to make the flow clear! To take things to the next level, I'm wondering if your school uses Google Calendar, as it looked like you logged in with a Google account. What if there's a way to integrate your events tab into existing school calendars to make keeping up to date on things even easier than you've already done? Nice job!
Amazing work! My favorite part of your project is that you want to templatize the organization experience for students at other schools.
I really loved how you all took a problem you faced every day and tackled it head on! I could see this being a very useful tool for a lot of students and faculty in the future. I think this portal has a lot of potential and I could see it being integrated with other systems like Google Calendar or even Whatsapp. Awesome work team!

What a great idea!! I love the fact that you thought of the challenges most students have, accessing their schedules and school events and especially having important paperwork accessible under their profile so they don’t have to worry about losing them. It’s also user friendly which is super important. It’s definitely an app that students, not only in Is7 but in middle and high schools everywhere will benefit from. Your presentation was so fun!
