About this Project:

All children should be able to be in a home that they’re comfortable in.

We noticed that many children don’t have the same support at home that we do and realized that we can change that.

I have a sister that was in the foster care system until she was 10-11 years old and her foster mother did not really care about her so we made this app for people who actually want a child that they will love so kids won't be traumatized, and have a better life.

Very Good idea by three of you. Excellent work trying to design some pages of the app. Would love to see this app in market and people using and hopefully it will help kids get better homes. It is so good to see kids of your age thinking about social cause and trying to help needful kids. Keep up the good work.

I would love to know more details like if app can show kids according to the area or for the whole state or country and how it is unique as compared to other similar apps.

This is great idea! I loved learning about the inspiration behind the project and how the project came to be. I thought the design and construction of the app was very straight forward and easy to understand. I would love to learn more about other factors in consideration - such as the vetting process to make sure that the people are suited candidates to foster children. Great job, and fantastic presentation!

Wow! What a wonderful use of technology and design to solve such a deeply emotional and personal. There are so many dating apps that use technology to connect adults, we are way overdue for an app that helps children match to loving and caring homes. Incredible!

Chelsea, Jayla, and Tamiah - amazing work on "Discovering Foster Homes". Your problem statement is very clear and you did a great job storytelling the what and the why. Connecting kids with good foster homes is an incredibly important issue and this app addresses that we could be using technology to make the system better. I would love to see more features around safety and match criteria in future iterations. Great work!
