About this Project:

This project is aimed for students in elementary school and pre-school that want to learn their colors. My program is a fun and interactive way for these students to learn the colors. There are 7 colors in the rainbow and these colors are some of the most popular and widely used colors.

It is important to know these colors at an early age and it is something that young students learn first. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Upon clicking on the certain letter associated with your color, the character will jump and it will continue to jump higher for each letter. This will allow students to keep pressing the key and see the student jumping and this will keep them interacting with the program.

I liked the colors you used for the backgrounds for each color of the rainbow; the gradients were pretty to look at. Have you thought about adding character customization to the jumping person in the app?

I love the jump animation and I can see little kids just banging away it. You might think about adding some different animations. Maybe sometime the bouncing boy does a flip. Or giggles. Or waves his arms. Just that the child doesn't know what kind of reaction he/she will get. Great work!

Creative, simple and fun application! First, I appreciate how youve thought about the learning needs of very young people. And your solution is clever, interactive and appropriate for kids. Your video presentation was also fun and easy to understand. Your concept and prototype could be the premise for a portfolio of simple applications that helps children learn about letters, numbers, shapes, animals, etc. in a fun and engaging way. I hope you continue to build-test-learn from your prototype application. Good luck!
