About this Project:
Our issue is rampaging plastic pollution. People want to help clean up their areas but don’t know where to start.
We interviewed students from our school to see what they would like to do about the pollution crisis. We saw a resounding answer that they wanted to do something but had yet to start. We came up with a simple idea that could get people cleaning up. We then thought that competition and reward incentives would create continued motivation to improve the world.

The presentation showcased a creative idea with potential .
One area for improvement is the consistency of colors throughout the app. Ensuring a cohesive color scheme can enhance the overall look and feel. Additionally, some buttons were not clear, which can be confusing for users.
Looking ahead, focusing on color consistency and improving button clarity will help in designing better screens and enhancing the user experience in future iterations of the app.

Amazing job, Ben, Yarinet, Julian, Domenica, and Chay! This is an innovative idea to help people track their plastic use, help clean up their community, learn information on reducing waste, and engage with like-minded individuals in the community. You walked us through your design process, showcasing your paper prototype, iterations, and future goals. Wonderful work!
Hi team. This is a really well-thought-out and executed project. The carefully written text and visually appealing mockups really brought the story to life. In particular, I love the way you explained and illustrated your design process--it looks very professional! Another thing I liked is the app's reward feature. Can users redeem the points to purchase environmentally friendly products? Might be something worth looking into. Overall, great job!
This is a complex problem that your team chose to attack and your proposed solution is an excellent way to make it approachable and engaging for people. I especially loved how you brought us through the thought process and showed the lo-fi thinking and how it leveled up unto the final prototype. Extra kudos for bringing in a gamification + social aspect to make it sticky. As you iterate consider thinking how users can move from insights to action...once they see data from their life how might your team encourage them and their friends to go above and beyond? Great job on such a wicked problem!
