About this Project:
People can go missing for various reasons such as natural disasters, kidnapping, or just simply lost contact with their families. The goal of our app is to help reunite missing persons with their families through the partnership with police departments, non-profit organizations, and the community.
We first wanted to focus on the problem of homelessness. But then, with many constructive criticism about our app, we decided to focus on missing persons.
On the homepage of our app, users are able to see the posts about missing persons created by their family members on the homepage. Our app also has the “Agent”. The Agent will communicate between the user and the police department to help find the missing person and reunite them.

Feedback from the Judges:
This is a well thought out app loaded with features. I like the concept of helping to find missing people. Having the ability to post/browse/search for the missing person is a great feature especially when the number of posts increases. Language and accessibility function makes this a very inclusive app. Donations are a great idea to expand outside the app. Great job!
What is the thought behind needing a birth certificate for user registration?
You may want to consider limited access to non-NYC residents if you aiming for a first light launch of the app. The missing person might be in a different city/state. If you allow view access, it could expand the reach and success of app users identifying the missing person upon browsing on the homepage.

This a revolutionary idea with real potential to have a tangible and meaningful impact on others. Your overall approach story and design shows a lot of thought and innovation. I really appreciate the level of detail you put into your flow charts and mockup. Tackling your issue from both sides, the unfortunate, and the seekers was a great design detail as well.
I think there's some real potential for this, and in a lot of ways it markets itself. There's some spinoff potential as well. You could easily take your platform and rebrand and relaunch it so folks could track down long lost friends, school mates, etc..
Great work!
