About this Project:
Our social issue was mental health. The state of mental health in America has become a rising issue with an increased number of cognitive therapy services. Several studies have suggested that ecotherapy can be as or even more effective than cognitive therapy. Our app is aimed at promoting ecotherapy as an effective option.
The design process for our app began with gathering data from users to understand their views on mental health and ecotherapy. Following this, we created a simple happy path for the app, then slowly built outward to a user flow chart, creating the framework for designing the app using Figma.
Our app is aimed at building and maintaining communities around various ecotherapy activities. It allows new users to see testimonials from participating users and offers psychological assessments.

Feedback from the Judges:
Great work on the presentation! It looks very professional and thought out. I also love the idea that physical activities can benefit mental health. I am a big believer. Good work, cant wait to see the finished product!
App is beautiful and looks very professional. I’ve seen apps designed to get people together but never thought of the therapeutic aspect of group classes/events as ecotherapy. I would add an explanation or definition of EcoTherapy early on in the pitch. Fantastic idea. I hope you continue to develop this!!
